Graduates of this program will be able to:
- Apply elements and principles of design
- Create interior design drawings using both manual and computer-aided drafting techniques and documents necessary for the completion of a design project
- Select appropriate interior finishes and furnishings based on performance criteria and applicable codes and standards
- Apply appropriate codes, regulations, and standards that pertain to interior environments
Requirements
General Education: 20 Credits

PLEASE NOTE: Students wishing to sit for the NCIDQ exam will need a total of 60 credits in career studies in addition to their work experience. Successful completion of the NCIDQ exam is required for interior design certification in the State of New Jersey.
