Program Description

This option will prepare students for transfer to four-year institutions that offer Bachelors' degrees in Multimedia or Audio/Video Production. Students will gain a multifaceted skillset in pre-production, production, and post-production. In this program students will work as content creators for the College Radio Station, 90.5 The Night. Students will attend cultural and social events around the county and at Brookdale Community College to produce multimedia content that may be used on the station website or on the air.

Graduates of this program will be able to:

- Create high quality and aesthetically pleasing web-based audio, video, and social media content that conform to design principles and industry standards.
- Develop targeted messages and use industry-standard tools to create, manage, and communicate a message using appropriate formats, channels, and messaging techniques, working in either a collaborative environment or while working independently.
- Demonstrate good "soft skills" and employ good business and technology practices to evaluate project needs and resources, manage project workflows and deliverables, and market finished content.
