- Communicate major sociological concepts verbally and in writing
- Identify and define the social features of human beings and the ways in which they interact and change
- Demonstrate and summarize knowledge regarding the components of social structure as well as the major agents of socialization
- Compare and contrast the different subdisciplines and theoretical perspectives in the study of sociology and social inequality
