Individual Counseling for the Addicted Client

Course Description

This course is designed to be an introductory course in individual therapeutic interventions with clients suffering from addictions. The course focuses on individual counseling, crisis intervention, client advocacy and case management, and the legal aspects of counseling addicted clients. NOTE: This course is offered only in the Fall term. (Prerequisite: PSYC-125)
