General Physics I (Non-Calculus)

Course Description

The student will develop skills in laboratory and problem-solving techniques as they relate to the physical sciences and modern technology. The student will apply these skills to the solution of problems involving basic concepts of vectors, statics, kinematics, dynamics, work and energy; momentum; rotational mechanics; mechanical, molecular and thermal properties of matter; and wave motion and sound. (Prerequisite: A grade of "C" or higher in MATH-152)
