MCTS Guide to Microsoft Windows 7 Administering Microsoft Windows

Course Description

This is an introductory course designed for people who are getting started in computer networking as well as experienced network administrators who are new to Windows 7. Students learn to install, configure and maintain Microsoft Windows 7 as a client operating system. Students will learn how to implement, manage and troubleshoot hardware devices and drivers; monitor and optimize system performance and reliability; configure and troubleshoot the desktop environment; implement, manage and troubleshoot network protocols and services: disaster recovery and troubleshooting; and implement, monitor and troubleshoot basic security. At the conclusion of this course, the student will earn three credits, and be ready to take the Microsoft Windows 7 MCSE exam. NOTE: This course is offered only in the Fall term.
