This course will give the student an introduction to the ?virtual orchestra? software, NOTION Music®. The course will guide the student through software/MIDI installation, note entry, *.xml import/export, editing techniques, orchestration tools and playback/recording. The student will be able to successfully orchestrate and perform a multi-part selection of music. (Prerequisites: MUSI-101 and MUPF-101 or placement tests. Basic computer skills: working with files, email, internet)
