Students will identify and discuss problems, events and personalities in American history which have influenced the origins and growth of the Republic from the colonial period until the Civil War (1861). History will be viewed from many perspectives.(Prerequisite(s): READ-095 and ENGL-095 or satisfactory completion of the College's foundational studies requirement in reading and writing)
