Principles of EE I (Circuits)

Course Description

This course introduces the student to the basic concepts of DC and AC circuit analysis, loop and node analysis, network theorems and poly-phase circuits. Laboratory work emphasizes basic measurement techniques. The student will verify circuit theory as well as laboratory measurements with computer-aided circuit analysis such as PSpice and other software packages. NOTE: This course is offered only in the Fall term. (Prerequisites: A grade of "C" or higher in MATH-172 and PHYS-122)
