Electrical Circuits for Power Distribution I

Course Description

This course is specifically designed for students in the Electric Utility Technology program. At the conclusion of this course, the student will be able to analyze and measure series, parallel, series-parallel, and bridge circuits. Additionally, the student will apply the basic laws of meter circuits and various circuit analysis techniques including Kirchoff's laws, Mesh Analysis, Nodal Analysis, Thevenin's Theorem, and Norton's Theorem. Note: This course is offered only in the Spring term. (Prerequisites: A grade of "C" or higher in ELEC 103)
