Course Description
At the conclusion of this course, the student will be able to analyze complex AC circuits comprised of resistors, capacitors, and inductors, and use the j operator (complex algebra) to calculate impedance, currents, voltages, and phase angles. She/he will be able to use standard laboratory test equipment such as the oscilloscope, VOM, DMM, audio generator, frequency counter, and others to measure and verify calculated values. NOTE: This course is offered only in the Fall term.(Prerequisites: ELEC 111 and MATH 151)
