Anatomy and Physiology II

Course Description

As the second course in the Anatomy and Physiology sequence, this course is designed to satisfy the requirements of health sciences programs, the needs of the pre-professional student and those who desire a deeper understanding of the human body. Through classroom and laboratory experiences, the student will be able to identify and describe the anatomy, and demonstrate an understanding of the physiology of the human body at the molecular, cellular, tissue and organ system levels. Covered in this course are the cardiovascular, immune, lymphatic, urinary, respiratory, endocrine and reproductive systems of the human body. (Prerequisite: A grade of "C" or higher in BIOL-111)
