Principles of EE II (Electronics)

Course Description

This course introduces the student to electronic circuits and devices, particularly junction diodes, bipolar transistors and field effect transistors. The student will learn the elementary concepts of electronic device physics, transistor circuit biasing, amplifiers and transistor models. The student will design and analyze transistor amplifiers with the assistance of various computer-aided circuit analysis software packages. NOTE: This course is offered only in the Spring term. (Prerequisite: A grade of "C" or higher in ENGI-241)
