The Social Services Certificate is designed for students interested in pursuing a career in social services. Those earning a certificate will develop skills that will enable them to be competent and effective entry level social service workers. Department of Human Services (DHS) employees who complete recognized DHS training modules in one of the areas of: child protective services; mental health; or developmental disabilities will be given the opportunity to convert their training into academic credit and complete an academic certificate with additional course work. |
