Prerequisite(s): READ-092, READ-095 or satisfactory completion of the College’s foundational studies requirement in reading.
Description: The focus of this course is the development of students’ analytic skills. Students will evaluate claims, distinguish arguments from explanations, identify examples of pseudo-reasoning, and use inductive generalizations. Problem-solving will be the primary mode of learning.
