AUTO226 - Automotive Engines I Credits: 4 Lecture: 3 Lab/Studio: 3 Prerequisite(s): A grade of “C” or higher in AUTO 123 and AUTO 141 Description: This course will familiarize students with engine overhaul procedures. Proper diagnosis, disassembly, inspection and measuring, machining operations and reassembly will be topics studied. Lab work will include complete disassembly and reassembly of an automotive engine; emphasis will be placed on machining of cylinder heads and valves.
