AUTO111 - Automotive Drivelines and Transmissions Credits: 4 Lecture: 3 Lab: 3 Prerequisite(s): A grade of “C” or higher in AUTO 101. Description: This course investigates the different kinds of drive systems used in today’s automobiles and requires the student to learn how to service and overhaul various components of those systems. Included are clutches, manual and automatic transmissions, drive shafts and half-shafts, differentials, rear axles, front-wheel drive and four-wheel drive.
