NURS172 - Nursing Concepts II Credits: 6 Lecture: 4 Lab: 6 Technological Competency (t) Prerequisite(s): A grade of “C” or higher in NURS 111 , NURS 125 , NURS 171 , and BIOL 112 Prerequisite or Corequisite: A grade of “C” or higher in NURS 112 Description: This course develops the nursing knowledge, skills and attitudes of the student in providing patient-centered care for adults with common problems of homeostasis related to concepts of oxygenation, perfusion, metabolism elimination and cognition and memory. The student will also learn to provide nursing care for adults with adaptive and maladaptive psychosocial behaviors.
