LANG102 - Conversation Strategies for Non-Native Speakers of English
Description: This course is designed to give practice in idiomatic American English conversation by focusing on everyday situations (i.e., meeting new people, problems and successes as a consumer, solving problems) that students will be likely to encounter as they adjust to life in the United States. A hidden dimension of this course is teaching the student the difference between the formal language learned in the classroom and the informal language used by Americans in real life.
