Cognitive Psychology

Course Description

This course introduces the student to the broad-based study of human cognition. Topics include perception, attention, memory, knowledge representation, language, problem solving, thinking, and reasoning. Upon successful completion of the course, students will understand how the world is represented as well as the processes underlying those representations. Real-world implications of laboratory findings will be considered. (Prerequisite: A grade of "C" or higher in PSYC-105)
