Course Description
In this course, a small ensemble of student musicians (approximately 5-15) will rehearse, study, and perform standard and contemporary instrumental literature. Small music ensembles might include "Rock-It," the {Brookdale} New Jersey State Youth Orchestra's "Chamber Music Ensemble" and "Wind Ensemble." In addition, the Brookdale Concordia Chorale may offer small vocal ensembles including madrigal singers, Barbershop Quartets, as well as Girl's and Women's Ensembles, etc. The ensembles might be invited to participate in field trips to perform off campus, as well as concerts for college ceremonies, including graduation and theatrical productions.
