Automotie Electricity/Electronics II and Air Conditioning

Course Description

This course is for General Motors ASEP students only. It reviews the fundamentals of electricity, and then proceeds into capacitance, magnetism, semi-conductors, amplifiers, integrated circuits and microprocessors and how they relate to the power accessories commonly found on modern automobiles. It also covers the heating, cooling and refrigeration systems, and how these systems are electronically integrated. Service and diagnosis, as well as diagnosis and repair of the HVAC system will be emphasized. (Prerequisites: A grade of "C" or higher in AUTO 123 and AUTO 141)
