The Office of Admissions, Records and Registration assists all Veterans and eligible dependents to make full use of their V.A. Educational Entitlements, under the Montgomery G.I. Bill, National Guard Tuition Waiver, VA Vocational Rehabilitation, VEAP/REAP and VRAP programs. Information and referral to other veterans’ benefits is available through our website. Please call 732-224-2095 for assistance and information.
Veterans and their families are also encouraged to visit Veterans Center located in MAC 112 or visit the Brookdale Veterans Affairs website for additional information regarding benefits, the application process, walk-in hours, appointment availability and other helpful resources.
Active Duty Military
The Office of Admissions, Records and Registration also provides services to active duty military and their dependents. Military personnel and their dependents who reside in Monmouth County or on a military installation within the county are considered residents of Monmouth County for tuition purposes, even if they have not met the state and county residence requirements.
The Higher Education Opportunity Act of 2008 requires that admitted or enrolled students who leave school to serve on active duty with the armed forces be readmitted or re-enrolled with the same academic standing as when they left. Students called to Active Duty during the semester should be prepared to provide a copy of their military orders to the VA Certifying Official so that their classes can be dropped for a full refund or other arrangements can be discussed. It is the student’s responsibility to make sure they provide this information to the College, an important step of their pre-deployment, prior to their date of departure and/or training.
All military members and their dependents are eligible for the SOCAD and SOCNAV programs.
