Tuition and Fees


 

Monmouth County Residents - The tuition rate as well as a maximum amount per term, is set by the Brookdale Board of Trustees. It is published in the current online Catalog and on the Brookdale website on the tuition and fees page. (Special tuition rates may be in effect for persons 65 years and older.)

Tuition - $118.75 per credit; maximum $1,781.25 per term for Monmouth County residents (based on a 15 credit maximum per term; $237.50 per credit; maximum $3,562.50 per term for other New Jersey residents; $262.50 per credit; maximum $3,937.50 per term for out-of-state residents. Tuition for online courses is charged at $118.75 per credit.

Fees - Application $25 (non-refundable); Official Transcripts $3; Late Registration $25 (begins with first day of the term). Fees to be added to tuition include a $28.50 per credit general services fee, maximum of $427.50 per term. All fees are non-refundable. Students registering for 16 credits or more in the long terms (Fall/Spring) pay no additional tuition or general service fees.

Armed Forces personnel and their dependents stationed in Monmouth County are eligible for the same rates as regular Monmouth County residents. Veterans and their families are also encouraged to visit Veterans Affairs in the Admissions Office for a consultation or visit the Veterans’ Affairs website for additional information on tuition, fees and benefits available.

Tuition rates are subject to change and are effective July 1st each year. See the 2015-2016 Catalog and the College Website for new rates effective July 1, 2015.
