To Lincroft from Neptune
Turn left onto Neptune Boulevard when leaving the Center, and turn right at the first stoplight onto Route 33 West. Continue to the Garden State Parkway North entrance. Take the GSP to Exit 109. After leaving the Parkway bear left at the light onto Newman Springs Road (Route 520). Continue through the town of Lincroft (past four traffic lights). About 1/2 mile further, the entrance to the College will be on your left.

From Lincroft to Neptune
When leaving campus from the main entrance, make a left onto Newman Springs Road. Continue straight on Newman Springs Road (Route 520) until you reach the entrance to the Garden State Parkway South (after the fourth light). Proceed south on the Parkway and exit at Exit 100, following signs for Route 33 East. Follow Route 33 East to Neptune Boulevard (the first light after Jersey Shore University Medical Center). Turn left onto Neptune Boulevard, and the Center is on your right, opposite the Neptune High School.

To Lincroft from Northern Monmouth
Exit the Center going south (left) on Union Avenue, then make a left onto Highway 35 South. Turn right at the light onto South Laurel Avenue and continue on approximately 2.5 miles; continue onto Red Hill Road; go about one mile and turn left onto Crawfords Corner-Everett Road. Continue approximately 2 miles and turn left onto Newman Springs Road (Route 520); go 1.5 miles, and see the College on your right.

To Northern Monmouth from Lincroft
When leaving campus from the main entrance, make a left onto Newman Springs Road (Route 520) and go approximately 1.5 miles and turn right onto Crawfords Corner-Everett Road. Continue on for almost 2 miles bearing right onto Red Hill Road. Bear left onto Van Schoick Road, going approximately 2.5 miles and turn left onto Highway 35 North. Stay right and make a right turn onto Union Avenue. Go approx 2/10th of a mile and make a right turn onto Crown Plaza. The Center is the first building on the left.

By Car
From the Garden State Parkway, North or South: Take Exit 105- Route 36 East. Stay on 36 East until the right hand turn onto Broadway (approx. 3 miles). Take Broadway approximately 2 miles all the way through until the McDonald`s on your left. The Center is the next building on the corner of Third and Broadway; parking in the rear.

By Bus or Train
The Long Branch Center is accessible by public transportation. Buses 831 (Long Branch to Red Bank) and 837 (Long Branch to Asbury Park). The NJ Transit Long Branch Train Station is located just 4 blocks away. Call NJ Transit at

From Lincroft to Wall
Using the Phalanx Road exit turn right out of campus on to Phalanx Road. Take Phalanx Road to Route 34. Turn left on to Route 34 South. Follow 34 South to Route 18 South. Take Route 18 South and exit at 7A. Continue for approximately 1/2 mile until you come to the Stop sign. Make a right at the Stop sign on to Marconi Road. Proceed for 1/4 mile making a right on to Monmouth Boulevard. Travel 1/4 mile and make a left into the Center.

From Route 18 South to Wall
Take Route 18 South and exit at 7A. Continue for approximately 1/2 mile until you come to the Stop sign. Make a right at the Stop sign on to Marconi Road. Proceed for 1/4 mile making a right on to Monmouth Boulevard. Travel 1/4 mile and make a left into the Center.

From Route 195 to Wall
Take 195 East until it becomes Route 138 East. Stay on Route 138 East to Route 18 North. Take Route 18 North 1/4 mile to Exit 6C for Monmouth Boulevard. Make a right on to Monmouth Boulevard. Stay on Monmouth Boulevard and continue straight after the Stop sign (crossing Belmar Boulevard). Continue on Monmouth Boulevard for 1/4 mile and turn right in to the Center.

From the Garden State Parkway
Take the GSP to Exit 98. Take Route 138 East to Route 18 North. Take Route 18 North
1/4 mile to Exit 6C for Monmouth Boulevard. Make a right on to Monmouth Boulevard. Stay on Monmouth Boulevard and continue straight after the Stop sign (crossing Belmar Boulevard). Continue on Monmouth Boulevard for 1/4 mile and turn right in to the Center.

Alternate Directions from Route 138 East
Take Route 138 East continuing past Route 18 entrance. Make a left turn (via jug handle) on to New Bedford Road. Proceed approximately 1/2 mile to a traffic light and turn left on to Belmar Boulevard. Go two blocks and make a right on to Monmouth Boulevard. Stay on Monmouth Boulevard for 1/4 mile and turn right in to the Center.

Western Monmouth Branch Campus at Freehold

The Western Monmouth Branch Campus is located on Route 9 South just south of the Freehold Raceway Mall and CR 537 (West Main Street). From the intersection of Route 9 and CR 537, proceed approximately 4/10 mile past Pine Belt Chevrolet to the “U” Turn sign before the light. Enter the Bank of America bank entrance (in the jughandle) following signs to Freehold Colonial Campus and Brookdale Community College. Stay in the far right lane past the drive-up lanes to the building in the rear.

To Lincroft from Freehold
Take Route 537 east to State Highway 34 (Colts Neck Inn is on your left). At the intersection of Route 537 and Highway 34, make a left. At the next light make a right and you are on Phalanx Road. Continue straight on Phalanx Road until you come to entrance to the College on your left.

To Freehold from Lincroft
If you exit the campus onto Newman Springs Road, make a right and continue to the first traffic light. Make a right at the light and you are on Phalanx Road. Continue on Phalanx until you come to Highway 34. Make a left at the light (St. Mary’s Church is on the right). Go to the next traffic light and make a right onto Route 537. Continue on Route 537 west into Freehold. Proceed through the center of town on Main Street (Route 537) until you reach State Highway 9. At the intersection of Route 537 and Highway 9, turn left. (The intersection is after you cross over Highway 9, just west of center Freehold.) Proceed on Highway 9 south for 1/4 mile. The Center is located on your right in the Bank of America/Freehold Colonial Campus complex. Follow the signs for parking and park in the parking lot adjacent to the Campus. If you exit the campus onto Phalanx Road, make a right and follow the directions above.

From the West – NJ Turnpike
Take Exit 8, Route 33 East towards Freehold. Right after the intersection of Route 33 and Millhurst Road the road will split. Stay to the left and take the 537-East exit. Take 537 East and make a right at the second light onto Route 9 South and follow the directions above.

From the North – Garden State Parkway
Take the GSP to Exit 123 - Route 9 South (second exit after the Raritan toll). Travel on Route 9 South approximately 8 miles to the intersection of Route 9 and 537 and follow the directions above.

From the South – Garden State Parkway
Take the GSP to Exit 98 – follow the signs to I-195 West. Take 195 West to Exit 28B – Route 9 North. Travel on Route 9 approximately 8 miles and take the jug handle after Schanck Road across Route 9 (right past a Dunkin Donuts) which goes directly into the Campus parking lot

 

Smart Ways of Going to Brookdale’s Lincroft Campus

From the Garden State Parkway South
Go to exit 114. Keep right and make a right onto Red Hill Road, left onto Everett Road, left on to Route 520 (3.8 miles). (This is quicker than Exit 109 by two miles)

From the Garden State Parkway North
As an alternate route to avoid Lincroft traffic from exit 109, you may take exit 105 to Route 18 North, exit 15A to Wayside Road to 537 to Laird to right on Phalanx to Brookdale (seven miles).

From Route 18 North
Exit at 15A, Wayside Road, to Route 537 to Laird To Phalanx (seven miles, includes four lights, one railroad track). (Alternate route comparison: follow above to Swimming River Road/Route 520 and driver will travel 4.4 miles total but encounter seven lights, two railroad tracks, one Yield sign and higher traffic volume)

From Route 18 South
Take Route 520 E (8.8 miles)

From Route 537 East
Go left on Route 34 north, right onto Phalanx (4.0 miles)

From Middletown-Lincroft Road South
Make a Right to West Front Street West, then go left onto Everett Road, then left to Route 520 East (2.7 miles)

Western Monmouth Branch Campus in Freehold

 The Western Monmouth Branch Campus in Freehold is designed to help students complete associate degrees, transfer to four-year institutions, or continue at Rutgers University, the State University of New Jersey at that campus. The Branch Campus offers many of the 100 and 200 level courses applicable to a variety of associate degrees. Each is designed to transfer to a four-year college or university. As the home of the Brookdale-Rutgers partnership, Rutgers offers the upper level programs in Criminal Justice, Liberal Studies, Nursing, Political Science and Psychology.
